DIY ENVELOPE FULL
A full sheet of Citrus paper was cut in two, with each piece scored in the middle, folded over and edged.
The note cards are also Natural Citrus, and edged with the same punch that was used on the box flap. The Citrus belly band is 1.5″ wide and is pieced on the bottom, since it is longer than 11.5″. The back flap of the Citrus is 1.5″, the top fold is 1.5″ and the front is 2″, for a total of 5″. Adhere the Citrus flap and score it to match. Insert the smaller envelope in the box and score the box lid so it will fold over the smaller envelope. Decorate the edges with your favorite punch. Cut the Citrus as wide as the box and at least 5″ long. Since the red flap is too short to cover the front, use the Citrus to add a cover to the box lid.
Adhere to the sides before turning up the flaps at the bottom. It is a soft yellow white that adds even more color to the vibrant Cherry. Make 1.5″ wide supports for the sides using the Natural Citrus. Open the envelope and use the score lines to form the edges of the box, like opening a grocery bag. Fold the scores on both sides, so the lines are flexible. 75″ around the sides and bottom of the A7 envelope. The box easily holds 5 envelopes and note cards. The Cherry A2 envelopes, 4.375″ x 5.75″, are used in the card sets. The A7 envelope is 5.25″ x 7.25″, and is used as the box. The surface is soft and smooth to the touch, with a brightness that adds vibrance to the colors. Crush is a unique earth friendly paper that is made using process residues from organic products to replace up to 15% of virgin tree pulp. Paper-Papers makes a bright, cheery red: Crush, Cherry and a vibrant warm ivory Natural Citrus. This is a fast way to use a big envelope as a box for a smaller set of cards and envelopes. Draw a line at where the two pieces of paper meet at the back of the envelope and glue the label on top of it.Ħ.Nothing says love like a handmade set of note cards. Unfold the envelope and make a cute from around a 1/3 of an inch from both side from the top of the envelope down (see picture). The points should meet in the center of the paper and should slightly overlap. Fold in Three Corners Fold three of the points toward the middle. If you put the smaller piece on top of your bigger piece you will have an envelope shape. Instructions Arrange One Piece of Paper Take the piece of paper you want to be the outside of the envelope, place it decorative-side down, and rotate it so that it looks like a diamond.
Now fold the bigger piece up until the fold. First you have to fold the smaller piece of the scrapbook paper in half. It makes cutting so much easier! Glue each of the pieces to the bigger pieces of scrapbook paper so you will have to rectangles.ģ. Cut one of the three scrapbook papers in half with your cutting machine. The most light and plain one is best to keep for the label.Ģ.
